To understand contemporary American crafts one must consider craft as art. The best of today's craft objects, both decorative and functional, are taken to the highest level of design, material and execution.
Eureka Crafts was established in 1983 to showcase the talents of craftspeople from the region, state and from across the country.
Eureka Crafts gallery shares a building with Eureka Studios, a group of craft and art studios that have been a part of Syracuse, New York's Armory Square since 1976. This historic district offers visitors and shoppers an eclectic mix of shops, galleries and restaurants. The many owner-operated shops have a reputation for friendly, knowledgeable service. The restaurants and night spots offer an urban atmosphere in a small town setting. Armory Square is also the home of the MOST Science Museum.

We are proud to present the installation in our entry way. Ginger Dunlap-Dietz created this wonderful mural in the Spring of 1999. We fondly refer to it as
THE WALL.
